NASHVILLE, TN (July 28, 2025) — Nashville-based indie singer/songwriter Whitney Fenimore returns with “Come Around,” a mystical, soul-searching new single due out Friday, August 8. A poignant reflection on the state of the world, “Come Around” is a soothing yet liberating call to action — written for anyone longing for peace, clarity, and change in uncertain times. Sonically, the track blends indie folk, Americana, and alternative influences, rooted in warmth and quiet introspection.

Written and produced alongside Hunter West (Colony House, The New Respects, RYMAN), “Come Around” captures both the frustration and hope of living in a world where justice and freedom often feel just out of reach. West’s production brings a spacious, emotional depth that complements Fenimore’s raw, expressive vocal delivery.
With previous singles like “Wrong About Jesus,” “Thin Line,” “New Normal,” and “Better Than Lonely,” Whitney has proven her ability to craft songs that cut deep.

A standout semi-finalist on The Voice (Season 13), Whitney has since earned coverage from PEOPLE Magazine, NPR, and No Depression, thanks to the emotional depth of her 2022 album Leaving Ashwood and her continued evolution as a sharp, self-aware storyteller. She’s taken the stage at SXSW, shared bills with GRAMMY-winner Lori McKenna, and landed a publishing deal with legendary producer Ken Caillat (Fleetwood Mac, Colbie Caillat).
Through it all, Whitney remains grounded in her belief that music is a lifeline — a way to connect, cope, and heal. “It’s really an extension of me,” she says. “I’d feel pretty lost without it. I do my best to live authentically, and I hope that comes through in the songs.”
Whether performing solo with a guitar or fronting a full band, Whitney Fenimore delivers a kind of sincerity you feel in your chest — quietly powerful, deeply human, and entirely her own.
