NASHVILLE, TN (April 17, 2023) — Beloved Nashville duo — The Dryes — have announced their forthcoming six-track EP Dear Heart, slated for release Friday, May 17. Exploring life’s melancholic and pensive experiences, The Dryes share their story in its most raw form, guiding listeners on a journey to fresh perspectives and an energizing sense of hope. “‘Dear Heart’ showcases the last four years of our lives — carrying grief, honest questioning, finding relief in moments of hope, and living with love at the forefront through moments bitter and sweet,” share The Dryes. “Life is short, but it is truly a gift, and ‘Dear Heart’ is about leaning into it all.”

Providing fans the first taste of what’s to come, “A Little Longer” lead single and catalyst track to the project was released February 23. Shared alongside a scenic official music video set to be included in CMT’s rotation in the coming weeks, the video features a breathtaking sunset and the couple pictured stoic and thoughtful as they harmonize on the grief that comes after great loss and the importance of learning to sit in the dark with someone you love. Described by The Dryes as “an honest take of weathered love” the project’s sophomore single “Beyond Me” followed on March 15 and stands as a heartwarming tribute to the couple's love, which they describe as “beyond ourselves.”

Dear Heart will offer listeners the Sunday morning component to the very Saturday night coded EP of last year’s Raisin’ Beers & Hallelujahs (September 29, 2023), which featured an energetic, quick witted compilation of life mottos by The Dryes. Characterized by twangy guitar picking and vocals of their signature harmony and moving genuinity, the duo gears up to share the perfect soundtrack for the month of May as it marks the highly important mental health awareness month.
