SINGLE ARRIVES WITH 1900’S THRILL-THEMED VIDEO

NASHVILLE, TN (October 13, 2021) — Set to be released on October 29, country-rock artist Cody Weaver will deliver his latest single, “One About The Devil.” The song’s outlaw-leaning production creates a sonic foundation ripe for an early 1900’s thrill-themed music video — just in time for Halloween.

"'One About The Devil' is a tale about breaking generational curses, and defeating the devil within yourself,” says Weaver. “A story of death and rebirth, and beauty from ashes.”

Cody Weaver is a proud fourth generation Floridian and credits his musical style to being immersed in the sounds of American music throughout his life in the south. Undeniable music rooted in blues, bluegrass, traditional country and rock n’ roll.

Last year, Weaver released his debut EP, Southern Noise, and found strong media praise. American Songwriter raved, “Cody Weaver is truly one of our favorite artists from this year,” while The Boot took note of how Weaver “blends blues and rock 'n' roll into his own sound.” Over at Music Connection Magazine, they detailed: “We’re impressed by this artist’s EP, which shows off his ability to nail the varied sounds of modern mainstream country, an expert mixture of twang and bang that’s bolstered by crafty songwriting.”

Weaver’s unmistakable sound, unwavering passion, dedication, and do-it-yourself work ethic sets him apart from other country music artists.
